HIIPfit Instructor

Kyle House Fitness is the home of HIIPfit, the first interval workout program that combines cardio, strength training and yoga. HIIPfit is designed to increase fat loss, tone muscle, and boost your metabolism. But HIIPfit is more than a class, it’s a full mind and body experience fueled by the rhythm of music, signature lighting, and charismatic instructors. And we are looking for the next instructor to add to our list of rockstar fitness professionals.

Kyle House Fitness is looking for rockstar instructors who are looking to build a solid career in the fitness industry. Kyle House Fitness has been named the best trainers in Chattanooga and interested fitness professionals should have a strong/outgoing/positive personality with the ability to deliver a first-in-class workout experience through workout design, music selection, and general style of teaching and coaching. If you can inspire, motivate, entertain, and energize clients during each and every class and are ready to work to be the best. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver first-class training to customers while maintaining the distinct Kyle House Fitness aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture.

  • Inspire and energize clients and provide superior customer service at all times, inside and outside class.

  • Act as a Kyle House Fitness ambassador, inside and outside class.

  • Regularly promote your classes and Kyle House Fitness services through social media accounts. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Instructor or personal training certification and experience from leading group training, instructing classes, and/or working as a personal trainer.

  • Knowledge of fundamental exercises and the ability to demonstrate and instruct proper form. 

  • Availability for non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Availability to teach 5 classes or more per week. 

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Friendly, outgoing, and perceptive personality with a strong sense of integrity and self-confidence.

  • Energizing, positive, and optimistic attitude.

  • Passion for fitness and helping others ready their goals.

  • Enthusiasm and knowledge for the Kyle House Fitness brand and HIIPfit workout programming.

  • Proven dependability and reliability.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a desire to build strong interpersonal relationships.

  • Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of time.

  • Ability to move and lift equipment and supplies of 30+ pounds.

FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE

Job Summary

The front desk associate will be responsible for creating a positive HIIPster experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Kyle House Fitness workout partners, prospective workout partners and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet workout partners, prospective workout partners and guests, providing exceptional customer service.

  • Handle all front desk related activities including:

    • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.

    • Check members into the system.

    • New workout partner sign-up.

    • Take prospective workout partners on tours.

  • Facilitate needed updates to workout partner’s accounts.

  • Respond to workout partner questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, and elevate to Fitness Director or Owner as needed.

  • Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the studio.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Customer service background preferred.

  • Basic computer proficiency. Mind Body experience preferred.

  • A passion for fitness and health.

  • Upbeat and positive attitude!

  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.

  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with workout partners and co-workers, exceeding the workout partner’s expectations.

  • Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.

  • Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

  • Continual standing and walking during shift.

  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.

  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift
